Sheila Lynn Rose

Sheila Lynn Rose, 55, of Stephenville, died Friday, March 26, 2021 in Stephenville.

Memorial services for Sheila will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, April 3rd at Cowboy Church of Erath County with Werth Mayes officiating.  Services are under direction of Stephenville Funeral Home.

Sheila was born on November 17, 1965, in Midland, Texas to Ronald Lynn and Betty Jean Williams Rose.  Sheila grew up in Stephenville, and attended public school in Stephenville, graduating in the SHS class of 1984.  She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Tarleton State University. For many of her earlier years, Sheila owned and operated a day care in her home in Stephenville. Sheila taught school at Stephenville Central Elementary, Conroe ISD in Spring, Texas, and has spent the last year teaching the 4-year-old class in Bluff Dale.

Sheila is survived by daughters, Rachael Lauren Jones of Fort Worth, Brooklynn Raye Fergason of Dallas, and Sierra Christine Fergason of Hamilton; parents, Ronnie and Betty Rose of Stephenville; brother, Randy and his wife Kandy Rose of Keller; niece, Kaylee Rose; and nephew, Kamron Rose.

Sheila was preceded in death by a daughter, Callista Shiloh Fergason, and by her grandparents.

The Rose family wishes expressions of sympathy be made in the form of donations to any local children’s programs, or any children’s charities.
