Rose Marie McPherson Brown Wooley

 Rose Marie McPherson Brown Wooley, 87, of Stephenville, passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2021 in Stephenville.

 Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday January 13th at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Werth Mayes officiating.  Burial will follow at Upper Greens Creek Cemetery.  Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday at Stephenville Funeral Home.

 Rose was born on September 13, 1933 in Hamilton, to the late Brooks and Eva Lee Ray McPherson.  Rose attended public school in Stephenville, and graduated in the class of 1951, from Stephenville High School.  Rose married Jerry Roland Wooley on January 1, 1981 in Stephenville.  Jerry preceded her in death on June 6, 2004.  Rose was a member of Harvey Baptist Church, and over 20 years bowled in the local Stephenville Bowling League.  She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.  Rose spent many years of her life working for State Farm Insurance Company in the claims department.

 Survivors include her daughter, Cindy and husband John Carr of Topeka, Kansas; sons, Mike and wife Kelly Brown of Victoria, Joe and wife Daina Brown of Stephenville; grandchildren, Nicholas Carr and Zachary Carr, Todd and Clint Brown, Christopher and Crystal Stewart; great grandchildren, Tristan, Trenton, Trevor, Trace, Cooper, Chase, Beckham, Sam, Kaylee, and Zoey; and her sister, Bobbie Eilers of Fort Worth.

 Besides her parents, and husband, Jerry, Rose was also preceded in death by a son, Sam Brown, Jr.; brother, James McPherson; and a great granddaughter, Chloe.
