Pauletta (Halbert) Shelton Green

Pauletta Shelton Green, 86, of Morgan Mill, passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2021 in Stephenville.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, December 31, 2021 at the Morgan Mill Baptist Church with Rev. Joe Rogers officiating. Interment will follow at the Morgan Mill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at the Stephenville Funeral Home.

On July 3, 1935, Pauletta Shelton Green, was born to the late Edgar and Beulah Kelly Halbert in Pea Ridge Community, Erath County. Pauletta spent a significant portion of her life serving the Morgan Mill community. Pauletta worked as a cook at Morgan Mill School and was a member of the Morgan Mill Baptist Church.

Pauletta is survived by her sons, Johnny England and Mic of California, David England and Brenda of Tolar; Daughter, Patricia and Richard Bense of Abilene; Grandchildren, Chris England, Jason and Jennifer England, Amanda and Waylon Mowdy, Daniel and Kristen Randolph, Laura and Ryan Fincher, Jerome and Rheanna Randolph, Misty and Ryan Combs, and Michael Tally; as well as twenty-one great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; her brother-in-law, Bill Eakins; step-son, Carl and Deena Green of Burleson. As well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Joe Halbert, Faye Thompson, and Juanita Eakins and Jim Halbert; her husbands, Alfred England, R.C. Shelton, Calvin Green.
