Obituary

Kirby James Noland, 63, of Selden was born on April 5, 1958 in Stephenville Hospital to James Weldon Noland and Glenda Cook Noland. He passed away September 2, 2021 in Granbury, TX.  Kirby attended Stephenville schools and graduated from Stephenville High School in 1976. He worked in the lumber business most of his life. Kirby was a salesman for his daddy and Uncle David Cook at Cook Lumber Company in Stephenville and later for worked for Nick Stewart Lumber Company in Alvarado. He most recently worked security at Tejas Tubular in Stephenville.

Kirby loved fishing, horses and his family. He never met a stranger and always had a smile to go along with his big personality.  Kirby was extremely proud of his children and grandchildren and never missed a chance to brag about them.

Kirby was a member of the Selden Baptist Church where he accepted Christ several years ago. We celebrate that he is in heaven today with his daddy, granddaddy and many other loved ones who have gone on before him.

Kirby is survived by two sons James Benson Noland (Ben) and wife Tena of Midland Texas, Daniel Bryant Noland and fiancé Mallory Hess of Tyler Texas; three grandchildren, Troy James Noland, Mattea Noelle Noland and Noelani Grace Noland. He is also survived by his mother Glenda Noland-Snell of Stephenville; brother Steve Noland and wife Dawn of Stephenville; sisters Kathie Noland of Selden, Lori Colegrove and husband Craig of Stephenville and many nieces, nephews and friends.
