Jose Vargas, 75, of Stephenville, passed away on Saturday, May 6, 2023.
Funeral services for Jose will be at 12:00 Noon Wednesday, May 10th at Stephenville Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Erath Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Visitation with the Vargas family will begin at 4:00 PM Tuesday night, May 9th, at the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with a Rosary beginning at 7:00 PM.
Jose was born March 15, 1948 in Mexico to Jose Vargas and Refugia Marquez. He married Velia Munoz in Iowa in 1982. He worked as a laborer and was a member of the Catholic faith.
Jose is survived by his wife, Velia, five brothers, and five sisters.
