Cynthia Jean (Edwards) Price

Cynthia Jean Edwards Price, 74, of Stephenville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, July 25, 2021, in Stephenville.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, July 29th at Graham Street Church of Christ in Stephenville.  Burial will follow at West End Cemetery.  Visitation with the Price family will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday at Stephenville Funeral Home.

Cynthia was born on December 14, 1946, in Stephenville, to the late D. E. and Addie Zell Bills Edwards.  She attended school at Walnut Springs, and graduated in 1965 from Walnut Springs High School.  Cynthia received her Bachelor of Education from Tarleton State University in 1968, and her Masters in 1994.  She spent over 40 years of her life teaching.  She taught at Covington ISD from 1968 until 1970, Comanche ISD 1970 until 1973, and moved to Hillsboro where she taught from 1974 until she retired in 2007.  Cynthia was a member at Graham Street Church of Christ in Stephenville.  She loved the outdoors working with her plants and flowers.  Cynthia loved to travel and read, but most of all loved being with her family.

Cynthia is survived by her sons, Nathan Edward and wife Mary Price of Hillsboro, and Timothy Eugene Price of Stephenville; grandchildren, Lindsi Marie Price, Kayla Lesley, Emily Lesley, Jayden Lesley; great grandchildren, Ashton Chase Lesley and Andrew Bryce Youngblood; brothers, Donnie A. (Bim) and wife Donna Edwards of Walnut Springs, Ricky Dale and wife Barbara Estment Edwards of Cresson, and Dewey Dean and wife Cindy Edwards of Stephenville; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
