Charles Henry Williams

Charles Henry Williams, 99, of Stephenville with to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, January 11, 2023.

Funeral services for Charles will be at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 14th at the Graham Street Church of Christ with Mike Dacus and Doug Burns officiating.  Burial will follow at Erath Garden of Memory.

Charles was born on April 11, 1923, to the late Henry and Lillie Faye Jones Williams.  He married Sue White on June 24, 1946, in Stephenville, a marriage of 76 years.  Charles served during WWII in the Air Force.  He was superintendent of mails with the Stephenville Post Office for many years.  He and Sue were active members at Graham Street Church of Christ, where Charles served as an elder for many years. He enjoyed building rock walls, and spending time with family.  Charles was a life long resident of Stephenville. 

Survivors include his wife, Sue; son, Charles Damon and wife Mary Ellen Williams; daughter, Susan Williams; grandchildren, Skye Lowe, Kassle Shepherd, Cody McLeod, and Laurel Swenson; great grandchildren, Ainsley Lowe, Braddock Lowe, Maddex McLeod, Karsyn McLeod, Avonlee Swenson, and Anna Elise Swenson.

Besides his parents, Charles was also preceded in death by a sister, Frances Williams.
