Tony Ray Victory

Tony Ray Victory, of Stephenville, Texas, passed away on May 15, 2025, at the age of 59. Born on May 5, 1966, Tony lived a life full of horsepower, humor, and heart.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley McElroy; father, James Victory; and brother, Wesley Victory. Tony is survived by his beloved great aunt, Geraldine Odom; his brother, Zeke McElroy; his sister, Valli Parker; his cherished son and daughter-in-law, James and Kellie Victory; and his two treasured grandchildren, Madi and Tate Victory.

Tony was a man of grit and laughter who found joy in the rumble of hot rods, the thrill of drag racing, and the long roads traveled behind the wheel of a truck. But above all, he found his greatest joy in being "Papaw." His grandchildren were the light of his life, and he wore that title with pride and love.

Known for his quick wit and unwavering faith, Tony brought smiles to those around him and leaned on his trust in the Lord through all of life’s turns. He lived with purpose, drove with passion, and loved with his whole heart.

A graveside service is scheduled for Friday, May 23, 2025, at 2:00 PM in Stephenville, Texas. The exact location will be communicated as soon as it is finalized. A memorial account has been established in Tony’s name at First Financial Bank in Stephenville for those who wish to contribute toward his final expenses.

He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him, but his legacy lives on in the stories shared, the engines revved, and the laughter he leaves behind.
