Terry King

May 10, 1958 — Aug 6, 2026

Stephenville, Texas

Terry Lee King, born May 10, 1958 in Bessemer, Alabama, passed away August 6, 2026 in Stephenville, Texas.

Terry married Angela in April of 2018 and they were lucky enough to spend a very happy 8 years together. Terry was a jack of all trades and could do just about anything he set his mind to. He had a love for trains, and his favorite movie was The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly – a classic western that captured much of who Terry is, and he also enjoyed the movie Tombstone – which he quoted a lot of lines from that movie, frequently. He was never at a loss for words when he spoke to you about anything in life. He used to say, “just ask Univac”.

The latter part of his life he has come to know, and very much loved, Jesus to which he felt a calling to share his journey with everyone he met. He would always ask: Do you know Jesus? And toward the end of his conversations he would always say: Don’t give up.

Terry is survived by the love of his life – Angela Hope King; his son, Carey King and wife Carla Jo; two grandchildren, Kelcie and Tristan King, as well as 4 great-grandchildren.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Peggy King.
