In 2014, she began splitting her time between Goshen, Indiana and Cleburne, Texas before moving to Morgan Mill, Texas with her daughter in 2020.

Sharon is survived by two daughters, Lori (Rob) Richards of Morgan Mill, Texas and Lisa (Dave) Herschberger of Goshen, Indiana, along with a bonus daughter, Jeanette (Scott) Hoeksema of Marion, Indiana. (Denise) Shortridge, and lifelong friends Debby and Larry Brown and Robert and Doris Elmendorf. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Gladys Wiltz, and her birth mother, Pauline Wampler Shortridge.

Sharon was a talented quilter for more than 50 years and made hundreds of quilts, many of which she gave to family and friends or donated to charity.
