Rose Marie Becker

Rose Marie Becker was born on September 4, 1948, in Oroville, California. She passed away on February 20, 2026, at the age of 77.

Rose was married to Robert Becker during his service in the Army. She was an exceptional Army wife, devotedly managing their children’s activities and home life while Robert was deployed. On their first date, Robert tested Rose’s adventurous spirit by taking her rappelling down a 65-foot cliff—an experience she embraced wholeheartedly. Throughout their life together, she remained eager to join in his adventurous lifestyle. Her favorite time during his service was when he was stationed in Germany, where she had the opportunity to explore places she had always dreamed of visiting.

After Robert’s retirement from the Army, they settled in Stephenville, where their two children later graduated. Rose had a heart full of love and compassion, always offering grace and understanding to those around her. She was a patient listener, never judgmental, and a steady source of comfort for anyone in need. If someone needed guidance, she did not hesitate to offer honest advice, always wanting the best for those she loved.

She is survived by her loving husband, Robert Becker; her daughter, Dolly Miller and husband Eddie; her son, Clarence Straws and wife Alayna; her grandchildren, Carl Straws, Ashlee Straws, and Austin Ash; and her great-grandchildren, Kevin and Dana. She is also survived by extended family members and numerous friends who will cherish her memory.
