Ronald "Ronnie" Chaney

Ronald “Ronnie” Chaney, 82, passed away Sunday, November 23, 2025 at his home. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 28, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with David Bearden officiating. The visitation will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, November 28, 2025, one hour prior to service at Stephenville Funeral Home. Interment will follow after the service at Hightower Cemetery.

Ronald was born to Dale Chaney and Audie Bennett Chaney on August 14, 1943 in Stephenville, Texas. He worked as a laborer and was a member of the Graham Street Church of Christ. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Erath County Humane Society.

He is survived by his wife Lila Chaney and a host of cousins and friends.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents.
