Roland Pokey Stephens

Roland "Pokey" Stephens, 60, of Stephenville passed away Friday October 19, 2012 in Stephenville. Services for Pokey will be held Monday October 22, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at West End Cemetery, Stephenville. Visitation will be held Sunday from 5:00-7:00 PM at the funeral home. Pokey was born on October 28, 1951 to Floyd Stephens and Bobbie Hope in Stephenville. He was a veteran and proudly served in the Marine Corps in Vietnam. Pokey was a farmer and a lifelong resident of Stephenville. Pokey is survived by his father, Floyd and wife Norma of Stephenville, mother Bobbie Hope of Stephenville; brother, Charles and wife Norma Stephens of Midland; daughter Kelly and husband Mich Magin of Stephenville; Sons, Cody and Amy Stephens of Stephenville; Joseph Stephens of Stephenville, grandchildren, Justin Stephens, McCoy Magin, Miley Magin; and many beloved family and friends. He was preceded in death by Bill Hope.
