Ricky (Rick) L Hail

December 11, 1949 — February 2, 2026

Ricky Lynn “Rick” Hail from Collinsville, Oklahoma walked into the arms of Jesus on Monday February 2, 2026, at home surrounded by his family. Rick was born December 11,1949 in Hico, Texas, the only child of W.A. and Virgina (Anderson) Hail.

Rick grew up in the Stephenville area and was a member of the final class to graduate from Carlton High School in 1969, located in Carlton, Texas. After graduation Rick attended Tarleton State College for two years while working for Brandon Feed Mill.

In April 1971 Rick met his future wife Lynda Randals on a blind date arranged by his cousin and her sister. After a whirl-wind courtship, the two eloped on July 20, 1971. They were married at Riverside Baptist Church in Stephenville, Texas.

The two made their home in Stephenville where Rick worked for Genaut/NAPA Industries for over 10 years. While working for Genaut, Rick built a successful environmental services business known in the Stephenville area as Cross Timbers Janitorial. The experience and knowledge he gained eventually led him to Aramark Corporation where he excelled in the Environmental Services Industry.

While at Aramark, Rick earned numerous certifications in management, leadership, asbestos removal and a host of other certifications within the environment services industry. He served as Assistant Director and Director at numerous hospitals, public schools and universities where he was consistently recognized for excellence in management.

Rick’s favorite bible verse was John 3:16. He felt it encompasses the secret to life and considered it an immense honor when selected and ordained as a deacon at New Beginnings Church in Shawnee, OK.

Rick’s physical presence will be missed by his family and friends, but there are comforted by the hope and faith that they will one day be reunited in the presence of Jesus.

Rick is survived by his wife, Lynda of Collinsville, OK. Daughters Rhonda Duckworth of Joplin, MO and Celinda Hamm and husband Mike of Owasso, OK. Grandchildren Colby Coward and wife Britteny of Springfield, IL, Michayla Hamm and Zach Hamm of Owasso. Brother and sister-in-law, Travis and Mary Randals of Dublin, TX. As well as numerous extended family and friends.

Rick was proceeded in death by his parents W.A. and Virginia Hail, in-laws Lusk T and Dorothy Randals, sister-in-law Brenda Randals Jarrell and grandson Steven Kyle Duke.
