Rhonda Renee Thacker

Rhonda Renee Thacker, 62, of Galveston, formerly from Stephenville, joined our Father in heaven on Saturday, April 19, 2025.

Rhonda was born October 19, 1962 in Odessa, Texas to her parents, James J. and Lova Ann Mayfield Graham. Rhonda graduated from Plainview High School in Ardmore, Oklahoma in 1981. She then went on to complete cosmetology school. Throughout her life, she was privileged to work many different jobs, but she maintained being a caregiver. Rhonda had a heart bigger than Texas and had no bounds when it came to helping others. She was sassy and the life of the party, but wanted others to experience that same joy. She brought contagious laughter and fun wherever she went. Rhonda loved the Lord and shared her testimonies with many. She strived to encourage and lift others up, always putting others before herself. She was such a beautiful soul who was loved by all.

She leaves behind her two sons that were her entire world, Cody Allen Wooten and Ryder Glen Thacker, and Ryder’s father, Rodney Thacker, her mother, Lova Ann “Tobie” Graham, brothers; James Graham and wife, Rachelle Graham and Stacy Graham and wife, Kerri Graham, nephews; Brady and Zachary Graham and nieces; Molly Graham, Megan and Ashton Blackburn, along with countless family members and friends.

She is preceded in death by her daddy, James J. Graham.
