Phyllis Marie Cox

Phyllis Marie Cox, 61, of Austin, died Monday, September 24, 2012 in Austin. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Thursday, at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with David Whiteman officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Phyllis was born on June 17, 1951 in Glen Rose to the late Henry John and Helen Anderson Cox. She was a member of the Baptist Church, and had lived many years in Stephenville before moving to Austin in 2005. Phyllis spent many years working a long side her mother Helen at Helen's Home for the Aging. She is survived by her sons, Ryan Borders, Brian Borders, and Austin Borders all of Austin; brother, Victor Cox of Glen Rose; grandchildren, Avery Borders and Hudson Borders. Phyllis was also preceded in death by two brothers, Felix Cox and David Cox.
