Patsy Lola McCleery Cobb Little

Patsy Lola McCleery Cobb Little, 89, of Johnsville community, passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2026

Funeral services for Patsy will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at Stephenville Funeral Home with Ben McCleery officiating. Burial will follow at Chalk Mountain Cemetery, in Chalk Mountain. Visitation with the Little family will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday at Stephenville Funeral Home

Patsy was born on December 28, 1936, in Chalk Mountain, to the late William and Lola Warren McCleery. She attended public school in Grand Prairie, graduating from North Grand Prairie High School in 1955. She married J. C. Cobb, on January 31, 1958, in Dallas. He preceded her in death December 17, 1984. She later married Richard Little in Dallas on October 23, 1990. He also preceded her in death on October 10, 1995. Patsy worked several years as a purchasing manager for Tocom Industries, and also several years at the Stephenville Medical and Surgical Clinic. Patsy loved to play bridge, travel, and loved to garden. Most of all she loved being with her family. For ten years Patsy was secretary and treasurer for Chalk Mountain Cemetery. Patsy attended St. Lukes Episcopal Church in Stephenville

Patsy is survived by her son, Shane Cobb and his wife Pam; several nieces and nephews, including her niece and caregiver Debra Wycough.

Besides her parents and husbands, J. C. and Richard, she was also preceded in death by two sisters, Jessie Locke and Lee Rutter; and by two brothers, Bill McCleery and Atlee McCleery.

The Little family wishes expressions of sympathy be made in the form of donations to the Erath County Humane Society.
