Patrick William Pannell

Patrick William Pannell was born to William L. and Wilma Pannell in Fort Worth, TX on January 21, 1945. He graduated from John Carroll High School, Birmingham, AL in May of 1963.

He interrupted his college studies to enlist in the US Army on October 7, 1967 and served in Germany as a Combat Medic until being discharged on August 17, 1970. Thereafter he graduated from University of Texas Arlington, formerly Arlington State College, in August 1973.

His professional positions included functioning as a Manager of Consolidated Accounting at Alcon Laboratories in Fort Worth. Later he established an independent CPA practice located in Arlington, TX. In April of 1985 he married the love of his life, Mary-Lou Easley in Butler, PA.

He also held the position of Comptroller of Overcash Goodman in Fort Worth and later ReHab One. In 1992 Patrick and Mary Lou began a home-based business of medical billing and physician consultation, and moved from Arlington to Erath County from which he retired in 2016.

Memberships included Rosary Confraternity and The Legion of Mary, auxiliary membership, as well as the American Legion. He was an avid lifelong reader and enjoyed country living, working, walking and observing nature up close each day.

His parents and a brother, Jerry Pannell preceded him in death. His is survived by his wife of 40 years, Mary Lou Pannell, as well as a brother Terry Pannell, Fort Worth, and six sisters, Sharon Hydak, Arlington, Ann Blair, Flower Mound, Cecilia Pannell, Theresa Boardman, Mary Pannell, all of Arlington, and Sandra Albin, Steve, of Joshua, as well as a number of nieces and nephews.
