Norman K. Hunter, 82, of Stephenville, died Saturday, April 10, 2010 in Fort Worth. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, at Stephenville Funeral Home, with Elder Ed Kirkpatrick and Elder Bill Allen officiating. Burial will follow at East Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday at Stephenville Funeral Home. Norman was born January 3, 1928 in Hico to the late Samuel and Ada Holder Hunter. He married Virginia Williams, April 6, 1951 in Fort Worth. He served in the U. S. Army during WWII, a member of the Stephenville Primitive Baptist Church, and was a life long resident of Erath County. Norman work several years in the maintenance department at Tarleton State University. Survivors include his wife, Virginia; two daughters, Kathy and husband Randy Armstrong of Keller and Donna Gore of Carrollton; grandchildren, Jason Knight, Austin and wife Lindsey Knight, Brooke and husband Kenny Boren, and Magen Gore; sister, Winnona Scott of Athens.
