Mary Anderson

Mary Anderson, 87, of Stephenville passed away Sunday, September 22, 2013 in Stephenville. Funeral services for Mary will be held Tuesday at 2:00 PM at the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Howard Martin officiating. Burial will follow at West End Cemetery. Mary was born on November 18, 1925 in Stephenville to the late George O. Ferguson and Nona Laney. She was a graduate of the University of Texas with a Bachelor's degree in education. Mary wed Jack Anderson in Stephenville on June 26, 1948. He preceded her in death on January 14, 2011. Mary was a member of First United Methodist Church. Mary is survived by her son, John Anderson of Dallas, TX; 3 nephews, David Ferguson of Harrison, TN, Christopher Ferguson of Winchester, VA and Charles W. Ferguson Jr. of Almeda, CA; niece, Kathy Richardson of Tucson, AZ. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials are made to the First United Methodist Church of Stephenville.
