Mark Libby Davis, 52, of Ft. Worth, died Friday, April 25, 2025.

Memorial services will be held on May 31 st , 2025 at 11:00am at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in

Stephenville, TX.

Mark was born on April 1 st , 1973 in Stephenville to the late Mark Garner Davis and Karla Sue

Davis. After high school he attended Tarleton State University, earning a BA in English.

Following a stint in Minnesota working as a journalist, he returned to his home town and

earned his Master of Science in Information Systems. He would go on to make a career in IT,

spending a few years working for the Stephenville Independent School District and then at the

Tarleton Ft. Worth campus.

Mark was involved with several communities, organizations and events: he was an active

member of the Society for Creative Anachronism, volunteered at local food banks,

participated in several 5K runs, and a frequent patron of everything the Ft. Worth Cultural

District had to offer. Though he had no children, he was a fiercely proud uncle for both his

own nephew and the many kids who considered him one.

Mark is survived by his brother, Russell E. Davis; his sister-in-law Kortney Davis; his nephew

Mark Errol Davis and beloved relatives on both sides of his family. Mark is preceded in death

by his parents Mark G. and Karla Davis.
