Leonard Dale Jones

Leonard Dale Jones, born January 20, 1955, passed away peacefully on August 25, 2026 in Granbury, Texas. Leonard was born to parents, Ruby and Earl Jones in Stephenville, Texas. He went on to become a heavy equipment operator. At one point he worked overseas in the oilfield business for 12 years. Leonard went out fighting and he will be deeply missed.

Leonard was preceded in death by his parents, EJ "Red" and Ruby Jones, his sisters; Ollie Marie Jones, Greta Earl Jones, and Carolyn Hurst.

He is survived by his sisters; Mary Jones Burch, Sara Hopkins, and Sherry Jones; and his nephew Earl Raymond, as well as many other family members and friends.
