Lana Sue Moon

Lana Sue Moon, age 75 passed away Tuesday September 27, 2022. Lana was an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed holiday baking. She enjoyed country dancing when she was younger, and in her elder years garage sales & consignment store shopping to find treasures for her family & friends. Her true passion was family and spending time with her great grandchildren.  She was a beloved mother, sister, grandmother & great grandmother. Lana was preceded in death by her mother Ruth Scott, her father Charles Gray, her brother Gerald Gray and daughter Laura Boase.

She is survived by her daughters and their spouses, Kim Baser & Curt Mendez, Diane & Chad Monk, Larry & Terri Gordon, and her brother Gary Gray & spouse Sandy. Lana is also survived by her grandchildren & their spouses; Amanda & Aron Wimpee, Michael & Megan Hair, Tanner & Amber Monk, Reid & Lyndsey McGee, Chantz & Courtney Monk, Clancy & Jacky Bryant & Matt & Crystal Sikes, Peter Bang-Knudsen III, William Bang-Knudsen & Rachel Keylin.She adored her great grandchildren; Trysten & Reagen Monk, Chad & Camden Monk, John Luke & Carter Wimpee, Lilah & Lena McGee, Daphne Hair, Jackson Bryant, & Caden Sikes.

The family would like to express sincere thanks to Solaris Hospice for their help in caring for Lana at home in her final months.

A private graveside memorial service to be held at a later date.
