Kenneth Wayne Cason

Kenneth Wayne Cason, beloved son, father and grandfather, passed away on June 21, 2026, at the age of 80. Born on February 6, 1946, in Fort Worth, Texas to parents, Gracie O. and Hubert Henry Cason. Kenneth devoted 40 years of his life to the BNSF Railroad before retiring in 2006.

In 1966, Kenneth married the love of his life, Rhonda Faye, and together they created a beautiful life filled with love and laughter until her passing in 2023. Kenneth is preceded in death by his sister, Shirley Butler and her husband Keith Butler and his parents, Gracie O. and Hubert Henry Cason.

Kenneth is survived by his son, Daniel Cason and wife Kristi of Bluff Dale; son, Scotty Cason and wife Janie of Stephenville; grandsons, Chase Cason of Georgetown and Cort Cason of Midland; as well as his brother-in-law, Eddie Bramlett and wife Cissy of Stephenville; and several cherished nieces and nephews.

Kenneth will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family and his dedication to helping anyone that needed it. He touched the lives of many and leaves behind a legacy of kindness and believing in people when they didn’t believe in themselves. Supporting others when they couldn’t support themselves.

Memorial services will be held on July 2nd, at 2PM at Valley Grove Baptist Church. Family and friends are invited to join in celebrating Kenneth’s life and the impact he made on all who knew him. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Kenneth's honor to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

He will be deeply missed but will live on in the hearts of his family and those who loved him.
