Jimmy Roy Mayfield, 75, died on Saturday, February 10, 2024.

A graveside service for Jimmy will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, February 15, 2024 at Clairette Cemetery in Clairette with Gary Williams officiating. The family will host a visitation from 11:00am to 12:00pm on Thursday, before the service, at Stephenville Funeral Home.

Jimmy Roy Mayfield was born to the late Claud O. and Jeannette Day Mayfield on January 23, 1949 in Stephenville. He went to school and resided in the Fort Worth area most of his life. Jimmy was a crane operator for Commercial Metals for thirty years and for West TX until retirement.

Jimmy is survived by son, James and fiancée Wendy Huston of Stephenville; sister, Jean Pack of Fort Worth; daughter, Peggy Hatley of Minnesota and several nieces and nephews.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents Claud and Jeanette Mayfield; brother, Wayland Mayfield; and sister, Avalon Whitfield.
