James Henry Battle, 58, of Ranger, passed away September 25, 2013. Memorial Service will be held 1:00 PM, Sunday, at the New Bethel C.M.E. Church at 861 N. Miller in Stephenville with Rev. Marcus Rodgers officiating. James was born on December 8, 1954 to the late James and Jewell Lowe Battle in Munich, Germany. Survivors include his sister, Lola Morgan of Stephenville, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, James Strauskey Battle, and a brother, Jimmy Battle.
