Guy E. Willard

Guy Edgar Willard Sr., 93, of Arlington, Texas, passed away peacefully on July 2, 2026.

Graveside services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, July 6, 2026, at East Memorial Cemetery in Stephenville, Texas. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Monday prior to the service at Stephenville Funeral Home.

Guy was born on June 18, 1933, in Stephenville, Texas, to William Everett and Lucille Willard. He married the love of his life, Dian Suitt, on April 17, 1954, in Fort Worth, Texas. Together they built a loving home, raised three children, and shared 66 wonderful years of marriage until Dian’s passing in 2020.

Guy proudly served his country in the United States Army before embarking on a successful career as a sales executive with BIC and Pilot. He was known for his strong work ethic, kindness, and unwavering integrity. Above all, Guy was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. His Christian faith was the foundation of his life, and he faithfully served the Lord through his active involvement at Mayfield Road Baptist Church. He will be remembered for his steadfast faith, love for his family, and the example he set for those who knew him.

He is survived by his son-in-law, Philip Anich of Mesquite; his daughter-in-law, Crystal Willard of Fort Worth; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren, along with many extended family members and dear friends who will cherish his memory.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Everett and Lucille Willard; his beloved wife, Dian Willard; his son, Guy Edgar Willard Jr.; and his daughters, Paula Lucille Hash and Cynthia Eve Anich.
