It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dylan Lee Ary age 24. He passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends.
Born on March 15, 2001, Dylan was a beacon of light to everyone who knew him. He faced the world with pure heart and a contagious smile that could brighten even the darkest day. Dylan taught the ones around him the true meaning of kindness, patience and unconditional love. He loved music (The Lumineers), sports, Santa (HoHo) and all things Christmas. He had a deep fascination with fire trucks, tractors and trains. The sound of sirens or the sight of a big red truck would light up his face in a way you couldn’t describe. It was his favorite part of the parades and the louder the better. His joy was simple, genuine and utterly beautiful.
Dylan loved to laugh and make others laugh too. His giggle was infectious and his spirit unwavering. To his family and friends, he was pure love.
Dylan is survived by his mother Melissa Ary; father Chris Ary and wife Mindy; brothers Blu Ary, Cutter Cowart and fiancé Sydney; grandmothers Susan Pack, and Joan Ary; aunts Tami Parker and Missy Taylor; uncles Dean Pack, Ben Ary and numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by grandfathers Kenneth Pack and Ron Ary.
Funeral services for Dylan will be at 2:00 PM Sunday, October 26th at the Graham Street Church of Christ in Stephenville, with Gary Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Dale Cemetery in Erath County. Visitation with Dylan’s family will be 5:00 PM to 7:00PM, Saturday, at Stephenville Funeral Home.
The Ary family wishes expressions of sympathy be made in the form of donations to Foster’s Home for Children, Stephenville or to the LGS (Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome) foundation.
