Clayton Wayne Crow

Aug 23, 1941 — Oct 4, 2026

Clayton Wayne Crow, age 85, was called home on October 4, 2026, in McKinney, Texas.

Wayne was born on August 23, 1941, in Stephenville, Texas, to the late John Clayton Crow and Lillian Gary Crow. A proud, lifelong Texan, he grew up in Stephenville, graduating from Stephenville High School. He later married Brenda Ann Day in their hometown and honorably served his country in the 36th Infantry Division of the United States Army National Guard.

Wayne's early career began alongside family at I.C. Crow Floor Service in Fort Worth. His natural talent for connection led to a distinguished career with Azrock/Tarkett in corporate sales management, traveling nationally and internationally. Wayne was widely respected by colleagues and clients alike for his professionalism and work ethic. Wayne greatly enjoyed fishing, lake living and the Dallas Cowboys.

He was welcomed into eternity by his parents; his in-laws, J.R. and Essie Day; his brothers, Dean Crow and Gary Crow; and his son-in-law, Robert Alvey, Jr.

His legacy lives on through his family. He is survived by Brenda Crow, with whom he shared his children: Tammy Crow Alvey, Tony Crow and Kris Johnson, and Kelly and Shala Crow. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Ashlee Crow, Julia and Andrew Johns, Kaitlyn Crow, Travis and Abbie Crow, Andrew and Asia Alvey, and Dayna and Brett Buxton; his great-grandchildren, Maya Alvey, Ryder Buxton, Brynlee Buxton, and Lottie Johns; his siblings, Tommie Pack, Janet and Harvey Everheart, and Vernell Crow; and a host of extended family.
