Carol Ann Wren Chauncy Baker, was born, January 23, 1936, in Fort Worth, TX, to Boyd E. Wren, Sr. and Edrie Hedges Wren. Welcoming her to heaven will be her parents, her much loved sister-in-law, Corene Chauncy Workman; brother-in-law, Jerry Workman; brother-in-law, Dick Loyd; precious niece, Christi Stanley; her beloved grandson, Douglas Jackson; her brother, Boyd Wren, Jr.. and sister-in-law, Ruby Wren; and of course, Eddie and Baker and a whole host of Red Hatters!

Carol Ann left this world on Friday, July 18, 2025. She joined her savior, Jesus Christ, and all her loved ones who preceded her to heaven.

At the age of 15, she married her first love, Thomas M. E. (Eddie) Chauncy. A marriage at nearly 51 years, and produced two wonderful children, Jana and Mark, and a wonderful much-loved son-in-law, Kenneth Jackson. Eddie preceded her in death in 2002

In 2009, she married W. B. (Bake) Baker, a friend of both Eddie and Carol for too many years to count! From that union she gained a wonderful stepson, Justin Baker and his precious wife Jenny. Bake preceded her in death in 2022. Carol Ann was blessed have two strong Christian husbands to share her life with.

Her church family at Morgan Mill Baptist Church was very important to her as were her Red Hat friends. A very unique group of ladies that have been friends since the 2nd grade, a friendship of over 80 years. Her Saturday morning Bible Study friends, and her Stephenville Football moms also had a very special place in her heart.

Carol Ann had a great capacity for love. Her greatest loves were her seven grandchildren, and their beautiful families, Rob and Ramsey Jackson, Jud and Reagan Jackson, Doug and Clarissa Jackson, Amy Jackson, Cheri and Ben Shuffain, Cooper and Brittany Chauncy, Conner and Meghan Chauncy, and Angela Smith. Her greatest joy were her great grandchildren, Kellan and MaKayla Jackson, Landrey Jackson, Kade Jackson, Kolter Jackson, Amber Jackson, Dryston Jackson, Ethan Jackson, Cambree Luguire, Brady Shuffain, Kennedy Shuffain, Dylan Chauncy, Eddie Chauncy, Bexlee Chauncy, Collins Wren Chauncy, and Eliza Smith.

Carol is also survived by her forever best friend, her sister Jerry Loyd, and her much loved nieces, and nephew, Dana Jordan, Vicki Adams, Richard Loyd, Sharon Sims, and Dianne Richards, and their beautiful families.

Funeral services for Carol, will be at 2:00 PM Monday, at the Morgan Mill Baptist Church in Morgan Mill, with Joe Rogers officiating. Burial will follow at the Morgan Mill Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM Monday, (one hour prior to service) at Morgan Mill Baptist Church.
