On August 29, 2025, Heaven welcomed home a faithful servant of the Lord, Brenda Kay Neve of Stephenville, Texas, at the age of 73. Born on December 29, 1951, in Lubbock, Texas to parents Bill and DeAlva Daily, she lived her life as a testament of love, faith, and devotion.
She shared nearly 54 beautiful years with her beloved husband, James Neve. Together, they built a family bound by love, which became the center of her world.
To know Brenda was to know unconditional love. Her devotion to her family was endless. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, compassion, and boundless love that will live on in the lives of all who knew her. She enjoyed the many years of getting to know her clients, many became like family, as a beautician in Abernathy and Stephenville, Texas.
Brenda is preceded in death by her husband James, parents Bill and DeAlva Daily, Sisters Gwendolyn Spencer, Mary Ann Holleman(Lester) and twin sister Linda Faye Downs. Brothers Glenn Daily and Billy Daily, Niece Debra Lynn Bracheers, and Nephew Jackie Allen Holleman.
She is survived by her daughters Shanda Neve of Arlington and Taisha Armstrong of Dublin. Son Anthony Neve of Stephenville and 5 great granddaughters, with another one on the way, and grandkids Ashtyn and Sheldon Armstrong, Kaleb Neve, and Billy Dale Mercer . Her faithful dog, Happy and many nieces and nephews, as well as many other family and friends who she loved.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Erath County Humane Society, American Cancer Society or American Heart Association.
A celebration of life for Brenda and Linda, her twin sister, will be held at Stephenville Funeral Home in Stephenville, Texas, on Friday, September 12 at 11:00 a.m.
A special thanks to Carol Jury, Wings over Texas Hospice and Staff at Good Tree Assisted Living for all the love and care provided in the last few months.
