Bertie Faye (Halbert) Thompson

Bertie Faye Thompson December 4, 1932-March 25, 2016 Bertie Faye Thompson, of Morgan Mill, passed away Friday, March 25, 2016 in Morgan Mill. Funeral services will be at 10:00AM, Monday, March 28th at the Morgan Mill Baptist Church will Joe Rogers officiating. Burial will follow at Russell Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Sunday at Stephenville Funeral Home. Bertie Faye was born on December 4, 1932 in Morgan Mill to the late Edgar and Beulah Kelly Halbert. She married J. D. ‘Sport' Thompson on April 30, 1949 in Mineral Wells. J. D. preceded her in death on December 21, 2012. Bertie Faye was a member of the Morgan Mill Baptist Church, and a lifelong resident of Morgan Mill. She was a bookkeeper. Survivors include her sons, Virgil and wife Janice Thompson, and Billy Thompson; grandchildren, Kellie and husband Chris Romack, and Russel and wife Rachael Thompson; great grandchildren, Caitlin Thompson, Bailey Romack, Morgan Thompson, and Peyton Romack; sister, Pauletta Green; and brother, Jim Halbert. The Thompson family wishes expressions of sympathy be made in the form of donations to the Morgan Mill Baptist Church.
