Arthur J. Smith

Arthur J. Smith, 80, of Stephenville, passed away Monday, November 14, 2011 in Stephenville. Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at the Sweetwater Cemetery in Sweetwater, Texas. Arthur was born on August, 31, 1931 in Sweetwater to the late Alfred J. and Della Gray Smith. He has resided in Stephenville for the past 20 years after previously living in Abilene and in Sweetwater. He worked as a paint contractor and was a Baptist. Arthur is survived by sister, Lucille Brashear and husband Kenneth of Greens Creek, brother, J. Frank Smith and wife Treasure of McComb, Mississippi; sister, Mary Parenick and husband Gene of Surprise, Arizona; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Leslie Smith.
