Annie Cook 78 of Stephenville, TX passed away on September 6, 2025. Visitation will be held on September 10, 2025, from 6:00 pm to 8 pm at Stephenville Funeral Home. Graveside Service will be held on September 11, 2025, at 2:00 pm at Erath Gardens of Memory Cemetery.

Annie was born on December 7, 1946, to the late John and Freda Bassile Dow in Mingus, TX. She married the love of her life J. Paul Cook Sr on August 7, 1965. She worked for over 28 years as a bookkeeper for Cook Lumber Company. She volunteered for many things. She loved animals and gardening. She was a member of First United Methodist of Stephenville, TX.

Annie is survived by her brother Steve Dow of Ft Worth, Brother in law Dennis Mowery of Chandler, AZ, Brother in law Larry Collins of Stephenville, nieces Paula Cupps of Stephenville, Debra Moore and husband Steven of Glen Rose, Rhonda Allen and husband Mark of Saginaw, Leslie Tyson and husband John of Richardson, nephews Dennis Mowery and wife Melony of Queen Creek, AZ, Travis Mowery and wife Ally of Chandler, AZ, John J. Dow and wife Monica of North Lake and Michael Dow of Forest Hills. Also, great nieces and nephews Brady Cupps, Brandt Moore, Jace Tyson, Josh Tyson, Mark Allen, Jennifer Pearce, Lauren Allen, John R. Allen, Autum Dow, Andrew Dow, Dennis Mowery Jr, Alahana Mowery and Cody Mowery. She was proceeded in death by her parents John and Freda Dow, Husband J. Paul Cook, Brother Albert Dow, Brother John Dow, Sister Jeanne Dow Mowery, Sister Helen Dow Collin’s and great nephew Brandon Mowery.
