Charlene Rose Svien, 82, passed away Monday October 1, 2012 in Stephenville.
Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday October 7, 2012 at Graham St Church of Christ with Don Parker officiating.
Charlene was born October 25, 1929 to the late Charles Griffith and Roslea Kilpatrick Griffith in Randlett, Oklahoma. Charlene married Douglas Henry Svien on December 18, 1949 in Burkburnett, Texas. She worked as a housewife, bookkeeper, and secretary. She was a member of the Graham St Church of Christ. Charlene had lived in Stephenville for the last four and a half years having previously lived in Universal City, Texas.
Survivors include her husband Douglas; three children, Diana and her husband Gary Reynolds of Garland, Donna Marie Svien of Stephenville, and Doug and wife Sherilyn Svien of Stephenville; Grandchildren Julie Reynolds, Branden and wife Andrea Reynolds, Erin and husband Dennis Sissell and Kimberly Svien; one great grandchild, Hannah Reynolds, and two sisters: Florence Robison, Bobbie Holtzen, both of Burkburnett, Texas.
Charlene was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
