Alpha Turley, 82, of Stephenville, passed away Thursday, April 12, 2012 in Stephenville.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, April 14, 2012 at the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dale Cartwright officiating. Interment will follow at the Lower Greens Creek Cemetery in Erath County. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm unitl 8:00 pm Friday at the funeral home.
Alpha was born on August 12, 1929 in Melvin, Texas to the late Edgar J and Georgia Wahrmund Hensley. She married Douglas Turley in Stephenville on September 27, 1947 and he preceded her in death on September 19, 2007. Alpha has resided in Stephenville all of her life and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dublin. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her daughter, Donna Pack and husband Troy of Stephenville; son, Mike Turley of Dublin; grandchildren, Belinda Starnes and husband Keith, Steve Lane and wife Melanie, Travis Turley, and Kim Reed and husband Richard; great-grandchildren, Justin Egdorf, Brieanne Egdorf, Shaelyn Egdorf, Tyler Lane, Jaci Lane, and Rhett Reed; great-great grandchild, Haegan Troutman; brothers, Billy Hensley of Stephenville, and Levi Hensley of Fort Worth.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Dublin.
