Charles Gilley, 75, of Stephenville, died Wednesday, April 04, 2012 in Stephenville.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Gary Williams and Glenn Shock officiating. Burial will follow at West End Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday at Stephenville Funeral Home.
Charles was born on November 30, 1936 in Stephenville to the late Granville and Paralee Moser Jones Gilley. He married Patricia Lookingbill on May 25, 1957 in Stephenville. Charles was a member of the Church of Christ, and a life long resident of Stephenville. Charles retired after many years with TXU Electric.
Survivors include his wife, Pat; daughter, Diane Taylor-Revere and husband Gary of Stephenville; brother, Randy Gilley and wife Marihelen Gilley of Hico; grandsons, Chris Harrist and wife Jennifer of Newmarket, NH., and Dylan Taylor of Shawnee, OK; great grandsons, Christopher Harrist and Aiden Harrist of Newmarket, NH; nephews, Bret Gilley of Waco and Bart Gilley of Fort Worth.
Charles was also preceded in death by his step-father, Delbert Jones, and a granddaughter, Rachel Harrist.
