Tommy Walker, 86, of Stephenville, died Friday, March 23, 2012 in Stephenville
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, March 26th at Indian Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Stephenville Funeral Home
Tommy was born on October 14, 1925 in Erath County to the late Calvert Emmett and Martha Jane Strickland Walker. He was a member of the Baptist Church, served during WWII in the U. S. Navy, and was a lifelong resident of Erath County. Tommy retired after many years with the Stephenville Fire Department.
Survivors include his sister, Lena Faye Deaver; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Tommy was preceded in death by two brothers, Elbridge and Eugene Walker, and by his longtime companion, Hester Riggins.
Family wishes expressions of sympathy be made in the form of donations to the charity of their choice.
