Here are some places on the Internet that we would like to share with you: Benefits Toll-Free Telephone Number: for information regarding social security call 1-800-772-1213 any business day from 7 am until 7 pm.
A death benefit of $255.00 will be paid to a surviving spouse or a dependant child. The rendering of Military Funeral Honors is a way to show the Nations deep gratitude to those who, in times of war and peace, have faithfully defended our country. The basic Military Funeral Honors ceremony consists of the folding and presentation of the United States Flag to the veteran's family and the playing of Taps. The ceremony is performed by a funeral honors detail consisting of at least two members of the Armed Forces. At least one of the funeral honors detail will be from the Armed Force in which the deceased veteran served. If the veteran does qualify and if available a firing party, pallbearers, and clergy may be provided.
Veterans may also be eligible for a grave marker, and other burial benefits. We will be glad to assist in filing for all benefits for the veteran.
