Paul Lee Kilcrease
August 22, 1966—November 19, 2016

Paul Lee Kilcrease, “the painter”, 50, of Stephenville, passed away Saturday, November 19, 2016, at his residence. He had fought a long, hard battle with cancer.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, November 23rd, at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be Tuesday, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Stephenville Funeral Home.

Paul Lee was born on August 22, 1966 in Dublin to the late Alex Neal and Marilyn Carroll Hester Kilcrease. He married Josette Michelle Williams on July 6, 1985 in Dublin. Paul was a member of Horseshoe Bend Baptist Church, and a lifelong resident of Erath County. He was a painter.

Memories will be carried on by his wife of thirty-two years, Josette; their three daughters, Paula Roberts of Bluff Dale, Amber Kilcrease of Mansfield, and Tristan Kilcrease of Stephenville; two grandchildren, Shyli Autumn Roberts and Case Stout Roberts, two sisters, Marjie Lynn Lucas and Dena Marie Felts; five brothers, Jim Don Crabtree, Neal Kilcreasr, Douglas Kilcrease, Rodney Kilcrease, and John Kilcrease; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Besides his biological parents, Alex Neal and Marilyn Carol Kilcrease, Paul was also preceded in death by his adoptive parents, Hub and Marie Thompson Kilcrease; and a sister, Cathy Depontee.

The Kilcrease family would like to thank the community, and his many friends who have supported them during Paul’s illness.
